A new paper tradition

This year, my boyfriend and I decided to take on a big project. It was our first time making a Christmas tree together, so we decided to test our craft skills and create all our ornaments out of paper. We also wanted to tie in a music theme since it’s something that connects the two of us. We did purchase the balls, the bells and the curly hooks, but everything else was carefully hand-crafted using colored paper and sheet music, including the tree topper.

Making all ornaments took us a total of two days, six Christmas movies, a couple of hot chocolates, lots of popcorn and a few glue gun burns — but zero paper cuts, shockingly. We loved the experience so much we have decided to make this a holiday tradition — more to come in 2021.
